A place to land, to soften, to connect with your inner voice. The 50 hrs Yin Yoga Teacher Training takes you on an empowering journey to learn all about the holistic practice of Yin Yoga. Course Contents: - The Philosophy of Yin Yoga, including Chinese medicine insights and meridian fundamentals - Yin Yoga Sequencing, verbal guidance and use of props - creating a Yin Yoga class suitable for anyone - Myofascial release techniques (ball rolling) to combine with Yin - Daily Yin classes, pranayama, meditation, anatomy, Yin philosophy and methodology - A deeply meditative practice of surrender, benefiting all aspects of life Location: Tiruvannamalai is one of the holiest cities in Tamil Nadu, South India, and is an important pilgrimage site. In the heart of this sacred temple town lies Arunachala mountain - it is said the manifestation of Lord Shiva. On the full moon of each month, thousands of pilgrims circumambulate Mount Arunachala on foot, receiving blessings from this holy place. Since ancient times, Tiruvannamalai has been a magnet for yogis and sages for their spiritual practice and growth. It is especially known for the Indian sage Ramana Maharshi, who meditated in Arunachala's caves for long periods of time. And even in today's time, Arunachala and its powerful energy continues to attract yogis and spiritual seekers from all over the world. The course venue is located at Sri Anantha Niketan Ashram, close to Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu. Sri Anantha Niketan is set in the countryside on a 4-acre farmland, with direct views on sacred Arunachala. Life is slow and peaceful here - an ideal spot to immerse yourself in your Yin Yoga practice. The ashram is a place for learning, introspection and self-retreat. Please book your spot through this page or via e-mail/WhatsApp. We require a 150 USD deposit before joining the course to secure your spot. Details for the bank transfer will be given upon participation confirmation. We also accept the deposit payment via WesternUnion. The rest of the course fee is to be paid upon arrival, cash option preferred. The deposit is non-refundable even if you decide to cancel your participation later on. However, you may move your participation to any later course, if needed. If the course needs to be cancelled from our end, we will inform you in advance and refund any prior deposit payments.
